Lake Texoma Striper Fishing Blog

                                                             

I picked up the new 2009 Falcon today and took her for a spin out on Lake Texoma to get her broke in for her first trip on Monday. I was just out goofing around but I figured she needed to be christened with her first stripers. We didn’t do anything but throw lures today but we had a pretty good day all in all. We caught all of our fish using 4-5” glow sassys with 1-1 ½ oz heads fished against the rock bluffs or under the birds around the damn area. We released all of our fish and probably caught 20-30 before I had to leave. We fished in the middle of the day and they were biting great. I love my new boat, the 225 Yamaha 4 stroke purrs so quite you don’t even know its running. Our flood spawn has grown up and it looks like it will be an awesome year.
