Lake Texoma Striper Fishing Blog

The weekend special seems to be working and I'm starting to book up trips. Thank you to all of you have read my posts. I fished a trip for 2 this evening and the fishing hasn't changed. We loaded up a quick limit of 20 fish then we hit our topwater spots. First cast we had fish blowing up on our plugs. We landed several in the 5-6 lb range and one that was about 11 lbs. We also hooked up a fish that was bigger than any I had hooked in a long but he broke off. One of the hooks probably got wraped around the line. The big one definitely got away this evening. I will catch him again one day.
