Lake Texoma Fishing Report :: Mon. Dec. 27
Posted on December 28, 2010
The cold front that came through over the Christmas holiday seemed to have slowed the fishing down a bit on Monday. Granted we fished during the middle of the day from 11:00-3:00, missing the normal active feeding times of morning and evening, but that’s when they wanted to fish. We still managed make a decent trip out of it and bring home a mess of fish with 22 total but it was nothing like what we have been experiencing. Blame it on the cold front, the time we chose to fish, or perhaps a little of both. There wasn’t a problem finding the fish as we had tons of fish under us for the majority of the time. We were using live bait fishing in 40-45ft. of water catching a fish here and there. The bite was extremely light and the fish never would take it, just barely pulling the rod tip. It does look like there will be some good weather on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, if anyone is interested, the fishing should be good and I’m available.
