Simple Brine:

The brine cleanses your catch of any impurities. It is the basis of every recipe and works on all fish

Ingredients:

 

-3 tbs salt

- 3tbs sugar

- ½ gallon water

- couple of cups of ice

 

Mix all of the ingredients together in a gallon ziploc bag and shake well to dissolve. Place your catch in the bag and place in the refrigerator for 2-4 hours. If you do not have this much time then increase the amount of salt.
